Celebrating 10 Years of Partnership

As LIT celebrates its 10th Anniversary, we are honored to introduce the inaugural LIT Legacy Membership Award—a distinction reserved for our private sector partners whose unwavering commitment has helped build the foundation of our organization.

Since our founding in 2016, LIT has grown from a bold vision into a national organization serving nearly 700 paid members across North America. While our membership records began in 2020, our paid membership program officially launched in 2021, and our modern membership structure was formalized in 2022. Throughout that journey, a select group of industry partners chose to invest in LIT year after year, believing in our mission long before our growth and national recognition.

These organizations did more than maintain a membership—they became trusted partners. Their continued support has helped LIT expand leadership development, workforce initiatives, professional education, scholarships, mentorship opportunities, and national networking for transportation professionals across the United States and Canada.

The LIT Legacy Membership Award recognizes those private sector organizations whose consistent membership renewals and enduring partnership have left a lasting impact on LIT's first decade. Their investment has strengthened not only our organization, but also the future of the public transportation industry.

The Gala is part of the LIT Leadership Summit, taking place September 10–13, 2026, in Columbus, Ohio.
